Using the Watchlist & Following Domains (ZillionkingHost Domain Marketplace)
The Watchlist makes it easy to keep track of domains you're interested in without having to repeatedly search the marketplace.
Follow the domains you care about and let your notifications keep you informed.
Following a Domain
When you find a domain you're interested in, select Watch or Follow on the listing.
The domain is added to your Watchlist immediately.
You can remove it just as easily whenever you no longer want to follow it.
Sellers cannot see which individual users are watching their domains, although a listing may display an overall watch or follower count where that feature is enabled.
What Notifications Can You Receive?
Depending on your notification settings and the type of listing, you may receive alerts when:
- An auction you're following is approaching its closing time.
- You've been outbid.
- The domain's price decreases.
- A scheduled closeout price reduction occurs.
- A Buy It Now domain you're watching has been sold.
- A listing you're following has been relisted.
- A seller changes the listing price or other relevant listing details.
Available notifications may vary depending on the listing type and marketplace configuration.
Where to Find Your Watchlist
Access your saved domains through:
Domain Marketplace → Watchlist
You may also be able to access your Watchlist directly from your client-area dashboard.
Your Watchlist gives you a single view of the domains you're following, including their current price, selling method, and listing status.
Control Your Notifications
If you follow a large number of domains, you can adjust your notification preferences from your Account Notification Settings.
A useful approach is to keep important alerts such as auction endings, being outbid, and price reductions enabled while turning off notifications you don't need.
Three Smart Ways to Use Your Watchlist
1. Watch Closeout Domains
Instead of repeatedly checking a closeout listing yourself, follow it and let the marketplace notify you about important price changes.
Closeout prices may decrease according to a scheduled timeline, making notifications useful when you're waiting for a particular price level.
2. Watch Comparable Domains
Don't only watch the domain you want.
Following similar domains can help you understand how comparable names are priced and what buyers are actually willing to pay.
This can give you useful context when deciding how much to offer.
3. Watch Before You Bid
If you're interested in an auction, consider following it before placing a bid.
Watching the auction for a day or two can help you understand how much interest it is attracting and whether bidding activity is increasing before you commit your money.
The Watchlist isn't just a bookmarking tool it's a simple way to make more informed marketplace decisions.
