To change the Nameservers on a domain name, Follow the steps below:
- Login to your clientarea
- Click on Domains->My Domains menu item
- Click on Manage Domain beside the domain you would like to work on
- Click on the Nameservers tab
- Enter your nameservers and choose "Use custom nameservers (enter below)" option
- Click on the Change Nameservers button
NB:
If your domain name is .ng domain name, you would have to remove the registrar lock before you can change the nameservers of the domain. To do this, click on Registrar Lock on the domain management page and disable the registrar lock.
If you did NOT purchase your domain from us, we are not able to change the name servers because we don't control the domain. Please contact the domain registrar (place where you bought the domain) and ask how to make the name server updates. Most domain registrars have a tool so you can do this yourself. Then you will remove the current name servers and replace them with the name servers from your New Hosting Account welcome email.
